I was invited to a pretty cottage house surrounded by perennials, wrapped around a patio and climbing from the garden beds to the stone walls. My ex-boyfriend's grandparents greeted me with warm, open arms in their beautiful kitchen with huge bay windows, rustic walls and countryside decor. Then I met his mother in the second kitchen, just like in real life, where she reluctantly asked to reunite with my ex-boyfriend, believing it would make him happy even when she disliked me. In a familiar layout to the real one, I met him upstairs. He hugged me, begging me to come back. I remembered I had a date later with my current boyfriend, so I falsely promised to think about it before happily leaving the premise with a smile. It's good to wake up with a happy ending.

Invite me in, first impressions anew
Happy ending! It's like nothing ever happened
Cautious nature, what do you want?
Familiar faces, disappointing
Behind deep thoughts at the back of my mind
Intrusive lies made of fictional pain
Sure, it's unreal, but I really felt it
Is it too late to lie in wake and contemplate?
I despise you. There was nothing
In between us. Love died ages ago
I should have left but chained desperation
Kept me in awe until I was being gaslit
No, I will not return. Nothing to think about
My reason is enough - I don't want you again
You were good to me, but you were not good for me
Stay away from me, please. This is my first warning
No, I will not return. Nothing to think about
My reason is enough - I don't want you again
You were good to me, but you were not good for me
Stay away from me, please. This is my last warning
Behind deep thoughts at the back of my mind
Intrusive lies made of fictional pain
Sure, it's unreal, but I really felt it
Is it too late to lie in wake and contemplate?
Make an excuse to leave
Pretend to think about it
Do not retreat to rebound
Rescued by a happy brand-new memory
